DescriptionThis guideline spells out commitments made by Australian mobile carriers to continue offering ’13-Friendly’ mobile plans, which include mobile calls to 13 and 1300 numbers as part of the included-value allowance of post-paid plans and charge for these calls at no more than the price of a standard national call. The guideline also provides for a transfer window to assist consumers to move to 13-Friendly plans, details a communications exercise and plans for industry research into any potential consumer detriment arising from the cost of mobile calls to 13 and 1300 numbers.
